Trading Update 30 April 2021

We’re open again and want to thank you for your continued support this year through these uncertain times.

Following government confirmation restrictions have been eased, we’re excited to welcome you back to Maddington Central to enjoy our full suite of retail, dining and leisure facilities.

In line with WA Government directions, you are required to wear a mask in indoor public spaces, and in outdoor public spaces where social distancing is not possible, including our centre.

The safety and well-being of our customers, retailers, team and community continues to be our top priority. We will continue to take extra precautions to ensure our centre is clean and hygienic every time you visit, including:

·         Increased sanitisation and cleaning of customer touch points and high traffic areas

·         Reminding visitors to keep a healthy distance apart with physical and digital signage, and PA announcements

·         Traffic and density management in our carparks and our malls using innovative heat mapping technology

We all have a part to play, and you can make a big difference in helping us maintain a COVIDSafe environment everybody can enjoy by:

+ Wear your mask – both indoors and outdoors

+ Check in using your SafeWA app

+ Planning your shopping trip ahead of visiting

+ Keeping a healthy distance from each other

+ Maintaining good hygiene including washing your hands or using the hand sanitiser provided

Trading Update 23 April  2021

Your safety is our priority.

In line with Western Australian Government directions, from 11.59pm Friday 23 April until 11.59pm Monday 26 April, selected stores and services will be open for you to shop for the essential products and services you need.

Help our community stop the spread of COVID-19 by wearing a facemask and keeping a healthy distance from each other.

And remember, if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, however mild, please do not enter the centre and get tested immediately.

The safety and well-being of our customers, retailers, team and community continues to be our top priority. We’re taking extra precautions to ensure our centre is clean and hygienic every time you visit, including more frequent cleaning, monitoring face mask wearing, encouraging healthy physical distancing and good hygiene.

We know the past two weeks have been a challenging time for our community. We are excited to announce that from 12.01am Sunday morning (14 February), visitors to the centre will no longer be required to wear face masks.

Just a reminder, the safety and wellbeing of our customers, retailers, team and community continues to be our top priority. While we continue to serve you, we’re taking extra precautions to ensure our centre is clean and hygienic, including more frequent cleaning, and encouraging healthy physical distancing and good hygiene.

We are committed to the safety of our community and will not tolerate unsafe behaviour.

Social distancing measures are in place across our centre to protect our community from the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19). Practicing good hygiene and keeping a healthy physical distance between individuals is our most powerful weapon in fighting this virus, we ask that all visitors adhere to these measures.

We continue to take extra precautions within our centre to ensure it is a clean and safe place for you including:

-                      Physical and digital signage reminding customers to keep a safe distance apart

-                      Window signage and floor decals provided to retailers to assist with communicating physical distancing measures

-                      Floor decals and physical distancing reference points in key areas

-                      Increased sanitisation and cleaning of all customer touch points and high traffic areas

-                      Hand sanitiser at all entrances

-                      Where available, use our traffic counters and/or digital heat mapping to identify busy zones to help us to actively manage these areas before reaching customer density thresholds

-                      Automated alerts on occupancy allowing our team to actively monitor how many customers are in the centre at any time

-                      Additional team members in-centre during peak periods, offering hand sanitiser and reminding customers of distancing guidelines

-                      Automated, regular public announcements centre-wide, communicating distancing expectations

-                      Security officers, in high visibility vests, are monitoring our centres, together with supporting local police enforcing social distancing requirements as appropriate

Good hygiene practices

While visiting the centre, please help us keep our community safe by following the below good hygiene practices:

•                     Wash hands regularly, including after touching common surfaces and after coughing or sneezing.

•                     If you happen to cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and nose with a tissue, then dispose of it, or if you do not have a tissue, cover your mouth and nose with your upper sleeve.

We want to assure our customers and communities we are monitoring and acting on current and future government and relevant health authorities’ advice.

We’re open again and want to thank you for your continued support this year.  We’re excited to welcome you back at Maddington Central to enjoy our retail, dining and leisure facilities.

Whilst the lockdown has lifted, some restrictions are still in place and the safety of our customers, retailers and staff continues to be our priority.

You can help us keep you safe by

+ Wearing your mask!

+ The four-square metre capacity rule is currently in place in our Food Court, only allowing for 150 patrons to dine at one time. We ask that all visitors to our Food Court please sign in using the free SafeWA app. When you visit us simply open the app and scan the QR code which you’ll find located on all tables. If you don’t have the app or a mobile, please sign in at the designated manual check in point located within the Food Court.
+ Planning your shopping trip ahead of visiting
+ Keeping a healthy distance from each other
+ Maintaining good hygiene including washing your hands or using the hand sanitiser provided

Trading Update: 31.01.2021

We know this is a challenging time for our community and we will remain open for your essential needs.

From 6pm this evening (31 January) until 6pm Friday 5 February, visitors to the centre will be required to wear face masks while only selected stores and services will be open for you to shop for the essential products and services you need.
